The name of this collection, designed by designer Bruno Negri, emerged in the end. Yet, it turned out to be perfect for containing, in just a few letters, all the essential features that – in the design and production process – we have included in each faucets of Stele collection.

It all started with planning

Just as we were designing the new collection (and starting to see the digital renderings, first, and touching the prototypes, then) we began to realize how the shapes were as simple as they were refined.
In an abstract thought, they reminded us of archaic objects, bearers of important messages which, thanks to their supports, have reached us through the centuries and history. These objects were the ancient stele. And their name was the one we chose for our collection.

The essential characteristics of the collection

The distinctive characteristics emerge in the slightly conical shapes, firmly rooted on broad bases. They convey a sense of durability and stability.

From a manufacturing point of view, the facets of the faucet body do not only constitute a technical challenge, but also embody a tangible sign of dedication and craftsmanship. This meticulous workmanship gives dynamism and balance to the overall design.

For us the name “Stele” has become more than a choice: it is an expression of Emmevi’s philosophy. Like stones erected over time, it is a symbol of durability and aesthetics. Ours is a collection with a contemporary design aimed at those who appreciate that utility capable of never compromising beauty.
