Emmevi and its future, built on the foundations of past years.

Since the Magistro Vicario family entered the world of faucets in 1977, many things have changed: technologies have evolved, and Italy and the world around it have transformed. Emmevi Rubinetterie S.r.l. has withstood the test of time, building human relationships with other companies, valuing its employees, and focusing on quality and durable products.

Over the years, younger generations have taken on key roles within the company, adapting to global changes in markets, products, and marketing and communication strategies. For Emmevi the need to evolve – and to change the entire business system – emerged from the dynamism of the global commercial panorama.

The meeting, which took place in 2019 in Milan with Kitchen Studio – a network of professionals specialized in communication for SMEs – specifically, with Art Director Alessandro Zapelloni, began this renewal process.

Know yourself, your competitors, the market.

The first step was precisely to conduct a thorough Benchmark Analysis, developed with a qualitative approach and focused on three main areas: Visual Identity, Communication Tools, Comparative Product Analysis.

The impact of this document was significant, positively influencing Emmevi owners and leading them to undertake a massive redesign process of the brand and corporate identity.

It all starts with the new Brand and Corporate Identity

The beginning of the renewal of Emmevi Rubinetterie was marked by the design of a new logo and a corporate identity, attentive to the new market dynamics, to the vision of the new company management, while keeping the brand’s roots firmly grounded. Communication has become more oriented towards the end user, with the aim of providing clear and accessible consultation tools.

The guidelines of the new coordinated image have allowed us to design the new brochures (as well as other communication tools) within a clear framework, both in terms of graphic layout and photographic imagery, as well as textual storytelling.

All with the awareness of designing tools that are useful and in line with two target audiences: the existing customer base and the new one that Emmevi is determined to reach.

Price List 2022: a modern and functional synthesis.

The creation of the Price List 2022 has represented a significant effort, with the result being the outcome of over a year of analysis and work.

The 2022 Price List was conceived with the understanding that it would be a valuable and indispensable reference tool, used daily by Emmevi retailers and professionals who rely on this brand every day.

The words of Art Director Alessandro Zapelloni help understand the approach behind such an important project:

The design process was complex and it took more than a year to prepare the new price list: we integrated some typical service design tools (interviews with retailers and field observations) which helped us design a tool capable of satisfying the real needs of users. We have redesigned to simplify: the layout and graphics have been designed to make the contents more readable and allow users to find the information faster, always keeping in mind the guidelines of the new visual identity. To help users understand what’s new and make the most of the new publication, we have added a short document as a “Reference Guide” to the price list.

This process has led to a 720-page publication designed to provide a more intuitive and user-oriented experience. A method of use that goes beyond the mere listing of products, becoming an essential tool for those who use it on a daily basis.

Renewed Digital Presence: Focus on Web and Social.

Emmevi has reconsidered its digital presence, concentrating efforts on revitalizing the website and joining social networks.

Our new website, aligned with the latest standards in terms of technology and user experience, features a product catalog structure consistent with that of the Price List and has been designed with the goal of maintaining coherence and uniformity in the overall communication of Emmevi brand.

This approach not only simplifies navigation for users but underscores our commitment to communicating in a cohesive and uniform manner, especially compared to traditional tools such as price lists, brochures, and catalogs.

Unlike the latter, the website offers a larger and more detailed space for crucial information, such as finishes, product care, environmental labels, and our blog “Emmevi Notes and Stories“. This choice not only enriches the user experience, but also demonstrates our desire to communicate in an in-depth and transparent way. Compared to more concise tools (such as price lists and brochures), the site allows us to pay more attention to this useful information, providing our customers with a detailed vision of the news and values that guide our brand.

Another digital aspect on which Emmevi has decided to invest time, resources, and passion is Social Networks.
