Everything is constantly evolving. And, for a company like ours, in a market like the one of taps and fittings – in which we have been working for almost 50 years – continuous evolution and renewal are something natural. Indeed, they are something desirable and expected, in order to keep up with the times, constantly remaining in tune with the desires, expectations and requests of our customers. All this, of course, does not mean having to change completely. In fact, our values and the commitment we put into producing quality and design taps remain and will remain firmly unchanged.
Communication and corporate identity
In recent years, Emmevi has decided to evolve and change its corporate identity and communication. These have undergone a massive restyling: our way of communicating has changed, we have re-designed many of the corporate communication tools (both for internal use and available to our customers and resellers), and we have produced specific contents for our new website and for social accounts on Facebook and Instagram. And, of course, we have profoundly renewed our packaging – to which this article is dedicated – presenting it on the market in March 2024.

Design of the new packaging
The design process was as ambitious as inspiring.
Certainly, we were benefited by clear guidelines, which allowed us to design clean graphics – elegant, but distinctive – in line with the coordinated image.
The part of the box coloured with Pantone 549U takes up the back of the Price List, Finishes Chart and Brochures. Furthermore, “Emmevi colour” detail is visible from any side, making the packaging distinguishable and easily recognizable when found on retailers’ shelves.

Again with regards to printing, the choice to use only two colours was dictated by our desire to respect the environment and sustainability as much as possible. Not only from this point of view, however. Also with regards to paper design, we have intervened on the formats, in order to reduce, where possible, dimensions and paper waste. Paper which, again with a view to sustainability, we wanted to be FSC certified.
On the bottom of each box there is a QR Code which – scanned with your smartphone – allows you to access the web page containing the necessary information for the correct disposal of all packaging components.

Reached a goal, we already think about the next one.
Our values and our way of doing business always push us to look for room for improvement. For this reason, although the “challenge” of designing the new packaging can be said to be “won”, we are already working on new interesting projects that we hope to be able to share with all of you as soon as possible.
